Beaufortain is the region that lies around Beaufort-sur-Doron. Its main summits are Grand-Mont, Grand-Mont Needle, Pierra Menta above the Roselend Lake, around which takes place the famous ski-alpinism race of the Pierra Menta.
The Signal of Bisanne, with 1941 meters, provides a marvellous view on the Mont Blanc. Les Saisies ski resort hosted the cross country skiing and biathlon competitions during the 1992 Albertville Olympic Winter Games.
